All Round Musician in Birmingham
Introducing ANDY PEATE who is regarded as a very versatile musician best known on the local scene as a jazz trumpet/flügelhorn player.
At one time or another, Andy has played brass and keyboards at top level in bands playing jazz, big band, blues, funk/fusion, gospel, mainstream pop of all decades, ska, soca, reggae, folk, Country & Western. His repertoire is therefore very varied and extensive.
Andy is also totally at home as a solo pianist, having played in hotel foyer/lounge bars, restaurants, clubs etc., and his speciality is blues and boogie woogie, at which he is reckoned an acknowledged master.
Wedding music packages catered for - of course, BUT much more than that. If you are organizing ANY event which requires music that involves more than just a CD player or a disco (let's face it - a lot of them sound exactly the same, and the best ones aren't cheap either), then you obviously have to think of live music. Andy's ability, skill and experience put him in the forefront of local music providers, though he is still prepared to travel. Have a good look through this website and check it out.
About Andy
Andy has been featured with a wide range of musicians, notable figures as diverse as Rustie Lee, Acker Bilk, Roy Wood, the late Jimmy Witherspoon, the American blues singer and Andy Hamilton MBE, D.Mus., Birmingham's local jazz celebrity. He has also provided backing tracks for Jamma, the world champion virtuoso steel pan player. And he is also a member of First Impression, a top-notch function band which performs country-wide.
For several years he was a sessional lecturer in popular music at South Birmingham College: most recently, he had a temporary spell at a school of music in Solihull, teaching beginners' keyboards, and has also become accompanist to a Gospel choir based in Aston, Birmingham.

Wedding Music in the Midlands
As you will see from the content of this site, Andy is capable of providing a wide range of music services for your wedding or other special occasion. For instance, if you wished to book each act individually (e.g. trumpet voluntary, trad jazz band, solo piano, dance band), you would undoubtedly have to pay a separate fee for each.
Andy can offer a degree of integration in this respect, in that various services can be in the nature of an "all-in-one" package, tailored to the needs of the occasion. The charge would be a single fee, which would certainly be less than if you had to book each act on its own, at the same time avoiding the hassle of making multiple phone calls.
