HIS REPERTOIRE IS THEREFORE VERY VARIED AND EXTENSIVE, AND HIS REPUTATION AS A TEAM PLAYER IS ROCK SOLID.

About Andy Peate

Andy has been featured with a wide range of musicians, notable figures as diverse as Rustie Lee, Acker Bilk, Roy Wood, the late Jimmy Witherspoon (all time great American blues singer), and Andy Hamilton MBE, D.Mus., Birmingham's local jazz celebrity. He has also provided jazz backing tracks for Jamma, the world champion virtuoso steel pan player. And he is also a member of First Impression, a top-notch function band which performs country-wide.

For several years he was a sessional lecturer in popular music at South Birmingham College: most recently, he had a temporary spell at a school of music in Solihull, teaching beginners' keyboards, and has also become accompanist to a Gospel choir based in Aston, Birmingham.

Wedding Music in the Midlands

As you will see from the content of this site, Andy is capable of providing a wide range of music services for your wedding or other special occasion. For instance, if you wished to book each act individually (e.g. trumpet voluntary, trad jazz band, solo piano, dance band), you would undoubtedly have to pay a separate fee for each.

Andy can offer a degree of integration in this respect, in that various services can be in the nature of an "all-in-one" package, tailored to the needs of the occasion. The charge would be a single fee, which would certainly be less than if you had to book each act on its own, at the same time avoiding the hassle of making multiple phone calls.
